What’s a holiday without the perfect romper? Processed with VSCO with h3 presetI recently took a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii and this Valentina Romper from People’s Project LA was a great addition to my vacation outfits. This romper is very flowy with its bell sleeves, open back and deep V neck line. I paired the romper with a black lace halter bralette to add a romantic element to the outfit. The print on the romper is elegant, yet tropical and boho-esque. Besides wearing it on vacation, I could dress this romper up for a date night or girls night out by throwing on a pair of black or nude strapped heels. The fabric is so comfortable I would even consider lounging around in this romper.

People’s Project LA is a brand that I absolutely love. Their boho style is right up my alley. If you love this romper or love bohemian styles, I’m sure you would love People’s Project LA.

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetToday marks the first day of summer and all I can think about is spending my days relaxing in the pool to escape the heat or picturing myself on a tropical island in this vibrant blue number.

Blue happens to be the color I’ve gravitated towards during this season. It’s very calming and reminds me of the ocean. 🙂

This Cardiff Maxi in Cobalt from Wonderland Honolulu is a magnificent addition to my summer wardrobe. It has a loose and flowy fit, perfect for the hot summer heat. Because of it’s high quality material, this dress can be worn casually or dressed up for a fancier occasion.

I fell in love with this dress and this brand the instant I received it in the mail. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.

Trends are in the air and I’m happily taking them in.

Bringing a new meaning to ‘wrapped up’. This Tie-Waist Dress from Wonderland Honolulu wraps around from the back to the front and tied into a stylish knot. In my opinion, this dress gives off the “tied flannel” look, without all the hassle of more fabric. The heather grey is a wonderful addition to my already-neutral wardrobe. This dress also resembles the middle-knotted, cut out dresses that has been on the trendy horizon. However, if you’re not one for showing off too much skin, this dress can give you a taste of the trend, without bearing it all.

I paired the dress with yet another great trend, the bomber jacket. I chose this bomber, because of it’s unique patches.

You know how they say “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend”? Well they had it wrong. Purses are a girl’s best friend. I don’t know about everyone else, but my purse always has what I need, and that may be due to the fact that I throw my entire life in my bags. Currently, I hoard items in my brown tote from Nordstorm. My bag includes my Macbook Air, which is covered in stickers from Redbubble, and other stickers from different products like GoProPureFix Cycles and Vans. I also carry my current favorite Emma sunglasses from Urban Outfitters. I have three lip products that I like to travel with, the first being my Maybelline lipstick in Untainted Spice. The other favorite is Revlon ‘Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm’ in Honey. And I can’t forget the most important item, my Burt’s Bees Beeswax chapstick to keep my lips hydrated. To combat the oil/shine throughout the day I keep these NYX Matte Blotting Paper in my bag at all times. I make sure to include a pair of headphones in my bag, in case I end up doing work on my laptop in public places. For that time of the month, I carry my feminine product in a little pouch, such as the turquiose one from Target. Lastly, in my bag I have my wallet from Target.

Festival season is upon us. I’m sure everyone is excited for the music, but I’m here to talk about the FASHION. Coachella, as well as many other music festivals, is the time to break out your freshest boho-esque outfits. Bring on the fringe, tribal prints, henna/ flash tattoos, flower crowns  and your shiny jewels. Music festivals are all about mixing style with comfort. For my festival go-to outfit I would combat the summer heat with a breezy tunic, like this tribal tunic from Forever 21. The print is very playful and the trendy lace-up detail adds a flirty feel. I paired the dress with some ankle sandals from Rock & Candy. I love the tassels on the back of the shoe, because they compliment the boho vibe of the outfit. They also offer some height for us shorter girls, but still remain comfortable.  To accessorize, I wore a three layer necklace from Forever 21. You can’t forget your sunnies to shade your eyes from the bright summer sun. I love these reflective ones from Nordstrom (BP). A cute hat is a good addition as well, not only to amp up your outfit but also to protect your beautiful face from the hazardous UV rays. To top off my outfit, I wore a fringe purse from Nordstrom. I really love this bag, because I can transition it into a backpack when it comes time to dance the night away.
