Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream has been an essential in my skincare routine. I’ve never been one to rave about a skincare product, ever. My skin is pretty oily, especially in my T-zone and prone to acne. Most products irritate my skin, causing break outs and overall just don’t work for me. When I received this product in the mail I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with it.

I tried out this calming cream, applying it day and night after washing my face. During the day, I also apply a moisturizer with SPF. So, initially I was expecting my face to be extra oily with so much product on my face, but surprising that didn’t happen.

I have been using this cream for a week and I haven’t experienced any breakouts, which is remarkable. My skin feels supple and a lot smoother. On days that I wear makeup, I can tell a big difference in the application of my makeup and my skin has a nice glow.

This cream absorbs into the skin pretty smoothly. The only problem I’ve had with it is when I try rubbing the product in too much and I develop some residue on my face. The best way to apply it is to lightly rub it in and let the cream sink in. Do not rub too much.

I am so happy that I’ve found a skincare product that my skin loves. This product has done exactly what it intended to do. It soothed my skin and I haven’t experienced a breakout since.
