Downtown Girl

Threw it back to 2011, strolling through the city with my jean jacket, singing Hot Chelle Rae’s “Downtown Girl” because it’s just so catchy. There’s nothing I love more than putting on my go-to outfit and heading downtown for a coffee date or in this case, an impromptu photoshoot with my sister.

I find happiness in walking the streets of downtown and gazing aimlessly at the beautiful historic buildings. And words can’t explain how ecstatic I get when I see Christmas lights hanging from wall to wall.

My go-to outfit for these types of occasions is simple and hella comfy. I practically live in these MOTO Black Ripped Jamie Jeans from Topshop. They’re extremely comfortable. And the distressed knees add a grunge factor that I absolutely love. My top is a grey tank from Brandy Melville and we all know their clothing is pretty much made of clouds. Underneath my top, I wore a burnt yellow lace bralette from Me to We. I threw on my favorite Oversized Vintage Denim Jacket from Pacsun, just incase the weather got chilly. And to complete my outfit, I wore classic white Converses, which let’s be honest…shouldn’t even be considered white at this point.Processed with VSCO with a4 presetProcessed with VSCO with a4 presetProcessed with VSCO with a4 presetProcessed with VSCO with a4 preset
