Summer is coming to an end, so now is the time to get in all your last minute summer travels. Sometimes, planning a trip to a tropical island or a foreign city isn’t ideal for a budget or convenience, but you can still have a wonderful vacation locally.
My family and I recently took a two day trip to Dana Point Beach for a staycation at the Monarch Beach Resort. Although, the location was thirty minutes from home, I still felt as if we were miles away. The resort had a gorgeous view of the ocean and included many activities on the premises. My favorite part of the trip was driving by their butterfly sanctuary. The beach was equally as beautiful as the butterflies.
For the duration of our short trip, I lived in this swim suit combo. My unique swim top is from Aerie from American Eagle. My simple black tied bathing suit bottoms are from OP. I used my absolute favorite top from TopShop as a cover up. The high slit on the side of this top make it even more summer appropriate and spices up an ordinary button up.
Summer may be ending, but I’m happy to have made so many memories. Stay wild, child. <3
